Bob Ziegler is no stranger to success in business. In 1959 he founded Ziegler Industries, now a multi-million dollar industrial corrosion prevention, sanitation and insulation firm, which remains a world class service contractor today. Bob orchestrated an effective succession plan.

Bob currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC). He also formed and serves as current President of the SSPC Government Affairs Committee. He is a past Iowa State President of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA), and co-founded the PDCA Governmental Affairs Committee. Bob is also a member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE).

He has served as Chairman of the Industrial Painting Committee (IPC), and was an active member for many years. He has helped many of his fellow contractors with advice on business planning, marketing and succession planning.

Bob Ziegler is also an accomplished pilot and is a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and the Seaplane Pilot Association.
